The Women’s Ministry of First Church is sponsoring a child ($25 per month) as a mission project in memory of Jean Williams. Jean, former pastor’s wife, was a strong and devoted supporter and advocate of Children of Promise as well as a special friend to many of us. We desire to pay honor to her while at the same time providing for a child in need.

How are you? I am doing fine. I attend the Sunday School every week. Thank you so much for your Christmas gift, and sponsorship every month. I receive rice, nutrition, school supplies and medicines. Thank you for supporting me monthly. I was so happy to go to an amusement park with my friends. I am in 8th grade. Please pray for my family and study. I always pray for you and your families, too. When someone is ill, recovering from surgery, celebrating a birth or grieving a death, our church family generously blesses those in need with meals as needed. To help with this ministry or to report a need, please call the church office, 559-224-8724.
Whenever the church has a potluck lunch, funeral meal, reception, or any event involving a meal or refreshments, it takes many hands to make it flow smoothly.
Since our kitchen is used daily by our Christian Academy, volunteers are trained in proper use of kitchen equipment and clean-up in alignment with safety regulations and standards.
THANK YOU to those who help in the kitchen. You are appreciated!
More volunteers are needed to expand the team. When we work side-by-side, it doesn’t feel like work!
